When the expedition map is open and there is an unfamiliar display, it might be one of the causes.
The reason it's not working is that you are able to get some resources for free just for watching ads.
This is new (not everybody has it yet) and script doesn't know how to handle this expedition and stops working

The issue was related to an expedition that required viewing an ad. This expedition was excluded from the list of expeditions for automatic sending and is not reproducible in the latest version of the script.
