...is not true, .mx-4.mb-1 and .text-\\[\\#F3F3F3\\] do match two kinds of ads elements. The other type can be matched with .rounded-\\[20px\\], I've updated the script.

I believe this button is necessary.
Yes, this button is unnecessary as there is already Upgrade in account settings. I'll update it soon.
Collapsable ads (top of chat)
Well I do remember there were this kind of ads some while ago, but I cannot see them currently with all content blocker extension off on both my main and alt account.
"View ad to continue" smear (over chat bar)
I've noticed this in an earlier version, my solution prior that time is click the close button automatically, and IIRC I confirmed it worked.
"Advertisement" / "Hide ads" links (Search page)
removes the Trending sidebar on Search.
These are unexpected as I seldom use the Search feature, I'll investigate into this and push an update as soon as possible.
I've updated the script to address to "Upgrade" button (sidebar) and Search page.
After upgrading, I see the following changes:
From what I can figure, Character AI serves two different types of collapsible ads: one type if you're not using any ad-blocking software, and another type if you are. I say this because the ones I'm seeing only show up when I have my ad-blocker disabled. However, if I enable my ad-blocker, then the collapsible ads vanish — as does the "watch ad" blur over the chat prompt.
If it helps, I'm testing this with just your script running. No other scripts, no ad-blocker, and no browser extensions that interact with Character AI.

I figured out that I always have DNS level blocking of doubleclick.net on my router, so I can't see one type of collapsible ads by Google in chat and search. I'll disabled that blocking and try hiding the Google ads now.

This should be Google ads and should be hidden now after update.
The "View ad to continue" blur is still there
The blur over the chat prompt sometimes injects a huge gap at the bottom of the screen (I can't consistently replicate this.)
I still cannot reproduce the "View ad to continue" popup, guess I have to wait for c.ai to push it for me next time to test.

It seems that something in the script seems to be hiding the New Chat pop-up menu and the Styles pop-up menu.
Both of these contain a div which has the dialog role — which your script has a rule find and try to close.
The collapsible ad windows in chat are still a thing, too, sorry to say.

No, it was not related to auto close, it was a static filter.

I've tried again with Cloudflare WARP (no blocking to Google Ads domains) and failed to reproduce it...
If you can't reproduce it, then don't worry about it. The same ads aren't served across different regions, I guess, so what I see in the United States may not be the same as what someone in, say, Switzerland sees. (It may also vary by parts of the same country? Not sure.)

Doesn't hide any ads anywhere. It does, however, clean up the sidebar and hide the Call button, so there's that.
