Torn Price Filler - User Guide
What Does This Script Do?
This script makes selling items on Torn City much easier and safer by automatically filling in prices for you.
Instead of manually checking market prices and typing them in, just click the "Fill" button when listing your items and the script does all the work for you!

How to Use
Basic Usage
- Go to Item Market or Bazaar
- Click the "Fill" button next to any item
- See the prices from both markets in a popup
- Select a price by clicking on it in the popup (optional)
- Done! The price is filled in automatically
Popup Options
- Keep Open Checkbox - Keep the popup open to see price updates
- Refresh Button - Manually refresh prices right now
- Close (X) - Close the popup
Price Display
The popup shows:
- Item Market - prices with 5% tax shown in parentheses
- Bazaar - raw prices (no tax)
- Red prices - suspicious listings (be careful!)
- Yellow background - price not filled due to safety warning
Understanding Warnings
Anomaly Warnings (Red Highlighted Prices)
These appear when a price looks suspicious:
- "Bazaar price < 50% of Item Market" - Bazaar is extremely cheap compared to Item Market
- "Item Market price < 50% of Bazaar" - Item Market is extremely cheap compared to Bazaar
- "Cheapest < 70% of next 3 listings" - First listing is much cheaper than similar listings
What to do:
- Don't auto-fill - The script leaves the price blank for your safety
- Check the popup - See all available prices
- Choose manually - Click a different price from the popup
- Be cautious - Extremely low prices might be errors or scams
Underpricing Alerts (Browser Notifications)
These appear when you list an item too cheap:
- "The price you've listed... is $X but they're estimated to be worth $Y!"
What to do:
- Double-check your price - Make sure you didn't make a typo
- Consider raising the price - Don't lose money!
- Only shows once every 30 seconds - Won't spam you
Customization
Change the Price Adjustment
By default, the script fills in the lowest price minus $1.
You can change this:
- Open the Tampermonkey dashboard
- Find this script
- Click "Settings" or go to "Change Price Delta"
- Enter a new value:
-1 - Lowest price minus $1 (default)-10 - Lowest price minus $10-10% - Lowest price minus 10%-1[median] - Median price minus $1-1[market] - Market value minus $1
Show/Hide Popup
Toggle the "Show Popup" checkbox to:
- Checked - See price popup every time you click Fill
- Unchecked - Fill prices silently without popup
Tips & Tricks
Save Money
- Always check both markets before listing your items
- List in your Bazaar when possible (no 5% tax!)
- Watch for red highlighted prices - they might indicate pricing errors
Sell Faster
- Price your items $1 below the lowest (default behavior)
- Your items appear at the top of the list
- Sell quickly without losing much money
Avoid Mistakes
- Read the warnings! - They protect you from expensive errors
- Check the popup - See all prices before committing
- Use "Keep Open" - Monitor price changes while listing
Troubleshooting
Fill button doesn't appear:
- Refresh the page
- Make sure Tampermonkey is enabled
- Check if you're on the correct page (Item Market or Bazaar)
Prices don't load:
- Enter your Torn API Key when prompted
- Make sure you have a working internet connection
- Try clicking the Refresh button
Script doesn't work:
- Update Tampermonkey to the latest version
- Check the browser console for errors (F12)
- Try reinstalling the script
FAQ
Q: Is this script safe to use?
A: Yes! It only uses your public API key (read-only). It can't make any changes to your account.
Q: Will I get banned for using this?
A: No. This script only automates price filling - it doesn't automate gameplay or give unfair advantages.
Q: Why does it need my API key?
A: To fetch accurate prices from Torn's official API. Your key is never shared and only used to read public market data.
Q: Can I change the price after clicking Fill?
