Allows you to force or remove the redesign_optout cookie, allowing you to opt-out of the redesign or get the redesign back again, without having to change reddit preferences
A better alternative to those fragile "old reddit redirect" scripts. Instead of redirecting www.reddit.com to old.reddit.com, it forces reddit to serve old.reddit.com on all URLs except unsupported ones. While other scripts may redirect an unsupported URL to old.reddit.com, resulting in a 404 error, this one won't give you such issues.
Also works while logged-out. There is an option to force the shreddit site as well, but if you want to do that, opt in to the redesign again from https://old.reddit.com/prefs instead of using that option. The option is designed for logged-out use only, to go back to shreddit after forcing old reddit. If you use it while logged in with the option to "opt in to the redesign" turned off in preferences, your pages will have to load and reload again to switch back to shreddit, as reddit will keep setting the redesign_optout cookie. Use https://sh.reddit.com if you want to access the new UI while you have "opt in to the redesign" enabled in preferences.
That brings you to another advantage of this script. You can enable the "opt in to the redesign" option in preferences and get the mobile interface on your phone, while getting the old interface on browsers you have installed this script on.
